Many clients require a structural inspection of a property prior to purchase or sale for mortgage purposes, or for due diligence.

Having an inspection report showing a clean bill of structural health can also result in savings on insurance premiums, the reductions often being many times greater than the cost of the inspection. For the buyer, if defects are present in a prospective purchase then having these clarified and their repair costed can enable reductions to be achieved on the price of a property.
